Bedroom 1
This room in a 1960s apartment is now a fun, bright and comfortable place to be. The original decor's drooping floral wallpaper, tiny chandelier, putrid chocolate brown carpet and sad window treatments did nothing for this space.

Bedroom 2
Another dirty monotone paint scheme with ill placed art work. This room was given a new life by rearranging the furniture placement, replacing the old blinds with white timber Venetians and painting most of the walls white. The new bed linen and 'feature' wall colour which acts as a bedhead appeased the client’s love of neutral colours.

Bedroom 3
The chimneybreast colour matches both a small piece of blossom on a large canvas that hangs on an adjacent wall and some panes in the leadlight window that is opposite. It has the effect of bringing attention to these hints of colour that could otherwise be lost. Additionally, by contrasting, this colour also helps bring out the green in the decorative tiling around the fireplace that went unnoticed with the previous owners colour choice. These touches of colour add warmth and interest to this bedroom, which is otherwise very peaceful and neutral with a range of the Client’s existing pieces of timber furniture.
