Hallway 1
This hallway was originally painted a creamy yellow with light blue door frames and skirtings. The new wall paint colour, white features and improved lighting make this a dramatic and welcoming entrance.

Hallway 2
The new trapezial lighting system installed along the length of this hallway pools light on one wall and reflects fragments of light on the other surfaces creating a welcoming entry to this row cottage. Replacing the ‘open-inspection-beige’ paintwork with fresh white paint, the worn old carpet with a dramatic and lush chocolate carpet, the old mix of bookshelves with the super stylish and interesting sculptural form of the black Kartel Bookworm to hold the Client’s music collection, all combine to turn what was very drab to what is now very fab.

Hallway 3
It will be no surprise to learn that this Client was referred by her friend (Hallway 1) on the basis that she loved what I had done with his Hallway. The green used is a brighter green which acts as a colourful but soothing centre piece to this homes quite grand hallway.

Hallway 4
On emailing my client the before and after images of her hallway, she responded "That's just ridiculous!!! Great pictures....thanks for choosing such a fabulous colour."

Hallway 5
This 1970s apartment foyer had been dulled down over its life with cream paint and charcoal everything else. Reinstating the original red paint on the balustrade rails and white paint on the walls returned a sense of drama, fun and light to the space. A subsequent upgrade to the doors added stainless steel full height ‘kick plates’ and chunky Hafele door handles.
Apartment door numbers had been left to individual owners to install their own, which resulted in a mess of different materials, sizing, and placement on each door. The new red circular numbers match the balustrade colour, have a proud 1970-era look, and have been described by a stylish young person as looking like Pac-Man characters and being “totally cool”.
