Funky makeover continued

This is a combined bathroom and laundry in a low-end 1960s apartment I found on realestate.com.au that is a great example of a cheap but really cheerful and practical makeover. This is the same apartment as the kitchen above. They have kept the original Terrazzo floor and sanitaryware that are inoffensive yet are expensive items to replace. They have retiled the walls with large white tiles and hung a simple modern wall mirror. They have added storage and significant bench space with an IKEA stainless steel bench and drawers (replacing an ugly metal trough I assume) and an IKEA wall cabinet. The plant under the basin and the timber box of bottles tops the image off nicely.
